Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality patient care. If you are detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and a passion for dental health, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Perform lab tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience
- X-Ray certification
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively
- Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records
